1. What services will Crenshaw Health Center provide?
Crenshaw Health Center will provide medical, dental, behavioral health, and geriatric specialty care, as well as preventive screenings. An on-site pharmacy, and insurance enrollment support will be also available. Additional services may be offered depending on community needs.

2. Will services be available to everyone, regardless of insurance or immigration status?
Saban Community Clinic is committed to ensuring everyone gets the care they need and deserve, regardless of their ability to pay. The Crenshaw Health Center will serve all community members, regardless of immigration status, including Medi-Cal patients, uninsured individuals, and those with private insurance. No one is turned away for inability to pay.

3. What are the clinic’s hours of operation?
The official Clinic hours have not yet been finalized but typically, the Clinic will be open M-F with the possibility of weekend hours. Check back for more details in late 2026.

4. Will Crenshaw Health Center create jobs for local residents?
Jobs will be added to our website as staffing needs are identified. Please visit sabancommunityclinic.org/careers regularly for updates.

5. Will construction increase noise or cause disruption in the neighborhood?
Noise-related impacts during construction are temporary and will comply with all local noise and safety regulations.

6. Will parking be available?
Crenshaw Health Center will have designated patient parking and will take steps to minimize impact on residential streets. We also encourage the use of public transit, rideshare, and active transportation (walking, biking, etc.) to reduce parking demand.

7. Will traffic increase in the surrounding neighborhood?
There may be modest increases during peak hours, but traffic studies indicate no significant impact. Crenshaw Health Center will coordinate with city departments to ensure safe traffic flow.

8. How does the Crenshaw Health Center ensure safety and security on-site?
On-site security, exterior lighting, and surveillance systems will be in place. The clinic’s presence often enhances neighborhood safety by increasing activity in the area and serving as a positive community resource.

9. How is community input being incorporated into the project?
Regular engagement sessions, Neighborhood Council presentations, and meetings with community organizations are planned to ensure stakeholders can share feedback. Tell us what you need, take our survey. 

10. How can residents receive updates as the clinic moves toward opening?
Stakeholders can subscribe to email updates, follow social media channels, and attend community briefings to stay informed.

11. How is the building being funded?
The health center is being developed and financed in partnership with Turner Impact Capital’s Turner Healthcare Facilities Funds (THFF), which help mission-driven healthcare providers like Saban Community Clinic expand their reach by providing real estate expertise and ready-to-deploy capital for facility development.

An $18.7 million capital campaign has been launched to support the construction of the building. Currently, 73% of funds have been secured by private donors.
